Jiyang Lake Ecological Park is located in yangshe Town, Zhangjiagang City, Jiangsu Province, with a total area of 4.41 square kilometers. Among them, Jiyang lake is the main landscape, with a water surface area of about 0.7 square kilometers. Jiyang lake is an artificial lake excavated by centralized soil sampling method when the expressway along the Yangtze River was built in 2000. In order to further enlarge and strengthen the scale of the city, improve the quality of the city, and improve the ecological environment, the municipal Party committee and the municipal government have developed and expanded the ecological park of Jiyang Lake by making use of the artificial lake and making scenery around the lake. Jiyang Lake Ecological Park is a national AAAA scenic spot.

Development history

In 2000, the expressway along the Yangtze River in Jiangsu Province began to be built, and a man-made lake was excavated by means of centralized soil sampling. Because it was in ancient Jiyang Hubei, it was named Jiyang lake. After that, taking Jiyang Lake as the center, a new park with modern flavor and ecological garden characteristics, which integrates leisure, entertainment, residence and vacation, was developed and built, namely Jiyang lake ecological park.

In 2002, the overall planning of Jiyang Lake Ecological Park adopted international bidding, and then hill landscape company of the United States won the bid. The overall functional orientation of the park is to build a modern new urban area with high starting point, high standard and high grade, integrating leisure, entertainment, vacation and residence, guided by ecological concept and using ecological technology.

Zhangjiagang Jinghu Park

Jiyang Lake Financial Street: located in the southwest of Jiyang Lake Ecological Park, Jiyang Lake Financial Street is adjacent to Zhangjiagang Jinghu Park in the East, Shimao Jiuxi villa in the north and provincial Wetland Park in the south. It is an important business and tourism supporting facility of Jiyang lake ecological park. The block has superior geographical location and convenient transportation. Jiyang Lake Wetland Park: located in the southwest of the park, it covers an area of about 450 mu, including the canal and 1.6 km long grade 7 wetland. The wetland pumping station will lift the water of Jiyang Lake by 11 meters through the canal, and then treat it through the seven layers of the wetland to purify the water quality. Wetland landscape belt and Jinghu park are the ecological education center of Jiyang lake.
