Longfeng District Longfeng District, located in the west of Heilongjiang Province and the east of Daqing City, is one of the "three stars" of Daqing central city. Longfeng District is divided into three blocks: Longfeng, wolitun and Xinghua, with one town and five streets under its jurisdiction. As of 2013, Longfeng District has an area of 410 square kilometers and a population of 200000 (2013). In 2012, Longfeng District achieved a GDP of 13.7 billion yuan. The main tourist attractions are Daqing Longfeng Wetland Nature Reserve, Longfeng Park, etc.

Historical evolution

Longfeng District was originally the third district of Anda County, sparsely populated. In 1960, due to the development and construction of Daqing Oilfield, the population gradually increased. In June 1960, Anda City set up Longfeng office.

In July 1961, Heilongjiang Provincial People's Committee approved the establishment of Longfeng District of Anda City, which was changed to Longfeng town (county level) in 1965.

In March 1968, the three production teams of Longfeng commune in Anda county were put under the jurisdiction of Anda City, which was subordinate to Longfeng town.

On July 2, 1974, the Heilongjiang Provincial Revolutionary Committee approved the restoration of Longfeng District, which was subordinate to Anda City.

In December 1979, Anda City changed its name to Daqing City, under the jurisdiction of Daqing city.

In 1992, Longfeng District was under the jurisdiction of Daqing city.

By 2017, Longfeng District has jurisdiction over six communities and one town: Longfeng community, Dongguang community, Xinghua community, sanyonghu community, wolitun community, Longzheng community and Longfeng town.

Longfeng District of Daqing City in Heilongjiang Province is located in the west of Heilongjiang Province and the east of Daqing city. It can be divided into three vegetation types: meadow, swamp and aquatic vegetation, with medicinal plants, fiber plants, forage plants and other plant groups. There are reed, Typha angustifolia, Sparganium angustifolia, dandelion, Cinnamomum camphora, Leymus chinensis, Puccinellia tenuiflora, etc.

Daqing Longfeng Wetland Nature Reserve is located in the southeast of Longfeng District. It is located in the middle latitude zone and belongs to the temperate continental monsoon climate zone with obvious four seasons and large temperature difference. In the reserve, the terrain is low and flat, with alternating bubbles and marshes
