Jian'an District Jian'an district is located in the central part of Xuchang City, Henan Province. It is surrounded by Weidu District of Xuchang City, Yanling County in the East, Yuzhou City in the west, Linying County in the South and Changge City in the north. Its geographical coordinates are 113 ° 35 ′ - 114 ° 04 ′ E and 33 ° 52 ′ - 34 ° 10 ′ n.
The total area of Jian'an district is 1002 square kilometers. In 2015, the gross output value of Jian'an district was 24.306 billion yuan, an increase of 9.6% over the same period of 2015. In 2017, Jian'an district had 16 Township offices with a total population of 914600.
Jian'an district is a national advanced zone for scientific and technological progress, one of the first batch of key areas for opening up in the province, an advanced zone for developing export-oriented economy, a national important base for processing and exporting hair products, and a production base for automobile transmission shaft.
Jian'an district was selected as one of the top 100 science and technology innovation districts in 2018.
In November 2020, it will be included in the list of the third batch of counties (districts) meeting the water-saving society construction standards.
Historical evolution
About 80000 to 100000 years ago, the ancient skull like fossil "xuchangren" was unearthed in Jian'an District, which filled the gap in the study of the origin of modern Chinese people and was one of the birthplaces of Chinese civilization.
Jianan District of Tang Yao has a long history. It is said that Xu you worked here during Tang Yao, so it is called "Xu".
The Xia, Shang and Kun families live in xudi, which belongs to Yuzhou.
King Wu of the Western Zhou Dynasty granted Jiang Wenshu, a descendant of Taiyue, to Xu, a baron of the state of Xu. His capital is in the ancient village of zhangpan town.
At the end of the spring and Autumn period, Xu was small and weak. He was invaded by many big powers. During more than 70 years, he moved his capital (moved to Ye County in 576 BC, 15 kilometers south of Ye County today; moved to Yi County in 533 BC, father of southeast Bozhou City in Anhui Province today; moved to Ye County in 529 BC; moved to Baiyu County in 524 BC, Xixia County today; moved to Rongcheng City in 506 BC, Southeast Lushan County today); and was destroyed by Zheng in 504 BC. Chu Fu Li Xu Yuan Gong, Xu Yuan Gong died in 482 BC, Xu end.
In the Warring States period, Xu belonged to Korea and Wei.
Qin county system, so Xu county (county governance in today's zhangpan town ancient city), Yingyin county (say early Western Han Dynasty Yingyin County, governance of today's Xuchang City), Yingyang county (old city in today's Jian'an district southwest), are subordinate to Yingchuan County, county governance Yangzhai (today's Yuzhou).
In the sixth year of Gaozu in the early Western Han Dynasty (201 BC), Xu county was classified as Xu county and Yingyin county (governing the present Weidu District), both of which belong to Yingchuan county. At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, in the first year of Jian'an (196 A.D., the same below), Cao Cao welcomed emperor Liu Xie and praised the capital.
In the spring of 220, the 25th year of Jian'an, the Yuan Dynasty was changed to Yankang. In October, Cao Pi forced Liu Xie to become a Zen master, and the Han Dynasty ended with Wei Li. In December, Wei moved his capital to Luoyang.
In 221, Emperor Cao Pi changed Xuchang County to Xuchang County, one of the five capitals of Wei Dynasty (Luoyang, Chang'an, Xuchang, ye and Qiao). Xuchang County and Yingyin county still belong to Yingchuan county.
Xuchang in the Western Jin Dynasty was an important political and military town in the Central Plains, and Yingchuan county was also moved here from Yangzhai.
Xuchang was occupied by the later Zhao, the former Qin and the former Yan.
At the beginning of the northern and Southern Dynasties, Xuchang County and Yingyin County belonged to the Southern Song Dynasty. In the first year of Jingping (423), Xuchang city was razed to the ground by Zhou Ji, a general of the Northern Wei Dynasty. Yingchuan County governs Qianchang Society (now the old city of Changge City), Xuchang County governs Xutian (now Xutian village of chencao township).
In 446, Yingyin county was merged into Linying county. At the beginning of Tianping in the Eastern Wei Dynasty, Yingzhou was set up to govern the changshe. Yingchuan county is divided into Xuchang County.
In 539, Yingyin county was restored.
In the seventh year of Wuding (549), Yingzhou was changed to Zhengzhou, which governed Yingyin city (now Weidu District), and governed Yingchuan, Xuchang and Yangzhai. Xuchang county belongs to Xuchang County, Yingyin county belongs to Yingchuan county. Yingyin county was changed into changshe County in the Northern Qi Dynasty.
In 581, the first year of Dading in the Northern Zhou Dynasty, Zhengzhou was changed into Xuzhou, and changshe (now Weidu District) was governed by Xuchang County and changshe county.
In the early Sui Dynasty, counties were changed from prefectures.
In 583, changshe county was changed into Yingchuan county. In the third year of Daye (607), the system of prefectures and counties was resumed, and Xuzhou was changed into Yingchuan County, which belonged to Xuchang County and Yingchuan county.
In the early Tang Dynasty, Xuchang County and Yingchuan county were subordinate to Henan road.
Xuzhou was restored in the fourth year of Wude (621). Yingchuan county was renamed as changshe county. Xuchang County and changshe County belong to Xuzhou.
In the first year of Tianbao (742), Xuzhou was changed into Yingchuan county.
In the first year of Qianyuan Dynasty (758), Xuzhou was called again.

Yuan Xu belongs to Bianliang Road, which is still a state.
In the first year of Hongwu (1368) of the Ming Dynasty, the county of changshe was cut off, and the prefecture of Xunzhou was named. It was subordinate to Kaifeng Prefecture.
In 1724, Xuzhou was promoted to Zhili. In 1734, Shiliang county was added as a subsidiary state. Qianlong six years (1741) and changed to Zhili Prefecture, cut Shiliang county.
In March 1913, Xuzhou was abolished and Xuchang County was reestablished. The county government was called the county office, and it was subordinate to Kaifeng Road (also known as Yudong Road) in Henan Province. In 1928, Xuchang was the chief executive of the Second District of central district. In 1929, the county government office was abolished and renamed Xuchang County Government. In 1933, Xu Chang was the resident of the Fifth District administrative inspector's office of Henan Province. In May 1944, Xuchang was occupied by Japanese army. In August 1945, the Japanese army surrendered, and Xuchang County was still under the supervision of the Fifth District of Henan Province.
After liberation, Xuchang was liberated on December 15, 1947. The former Xuchang County was divided into two parts: Xuchang County and Xuchang city. The city governs Chengguan and the county governs rural areas. In March 1948, XuXi county was added, and the west of Jinghan railway in Xuchang County was assigned to XuXi county. In December of the same year, XuXi county was abolished. To the west of Beijing Han railway, part of Xuchang County belonged to Xuchang County, and Fancheng and Duqu of Linying County belonged to Xuchang County. In February 1949, Xuchang district was established, which belongs to Xuchang County. In March of the same year, Fancheng and Duqu still belonged to Linying county.
In 1953, shigu Nanzhai and Donghewan village were assigned to Changge county. Zhangpan Nanzhai, Wangchang, wangsongmen, Dongshen, Nanzhang, Guozhuang, Wenli, which originally belonged to Linying County, were assigned to Xuchang County. Meanwhile, Sizhuang, Wuliu, Wuzhuang, Majing and aoliwang in the north and west of Fancheng were assigned to Linying county.
In 1957, fangou, Yuanzhuang, Yulin, Dongshang and Baimiao, which belong to the county, were assigned to Xuchang city.
In July 1960, Xuchang County was abolished and merged into Xuchang city. Jiang Liji commune was assigned to Xuchang District farm.
In October 1961, Xuchang County was restored. In December, 16 teams and 54 natural villages of Nianshang, Wulang temple, tawan, Peishan temple, PanYao, Dongzhuang, Zhaowan, Hewan, Sanliqiao, Lizhuang, Sunzhuang, Dingzhuang, Qilidian, Hongshan temple, Jianzhuang and gaoqiaoying belonged to Xuchang city.
In July 1962, Jiang Liji returned to Xuchang County from Xuchang farm.
In 1970, Xuchang district was renamed Xuchang District, which belongs to Xuchang County.
At the beginning of 1982, xuwan and Dakeng li of Dengzhuang commune, zuzhuang, Wangzhuang, Guolou, Chenzhuang and Jinwan of Shangji commune, Fu Xiaqi, Luozhuang, Lizhuang, Pangzhuang, Cui Daizhang and laowuying of Hejie commune, Chen, Xuzhuang, Zhouzhuang and Luozhuang of zhangcommune of Changcun County, 19 brigades and 40 villages of guanchi commune were assigned to Xuchang city.
In July 1983, the county government moved from Yaqian street in the city to the new office of Gungan Liucun north. In August of the next year, the county Party committee also moved in. The county Party committee and the county government are located in the new district directly under the county.
In February 1986, Xuchang district was abolished and Xuchang city was upgraded to a provincial city under the jurisdiction of Xuchang County.
On October 6, 2008, the county Party committee and the county government moved to the new venture building of Xuchang County, located in Shangji Town, Xuchang County. By February 2012, all units directly under the county government had successively moved from gun barrel Liu to business building and Xingye building.
In 2014, Xinyuan street and Xuyou street were established. So far, the district has jurisdiction over two streets, seven towns and nine townships (including one ethnic township): Xinyuan street, Xuyou street, jiangguanchi Town, wunvdian Town, Shangji Town, Suqiao Town, jiangliji Town, zhangpan Town, Lingjing Town, chencao Township, Dengzhuang Township, Xiaozhao Township, Hejie Township, guicun Township, Shenjian Township, Yulin Township, Changcun Township, Zhangzhuang Township and aizhuang Hui Township (among them, Dengzhuang township is controlled by Xuchang City) The urban management committee is responsible for the management, and Zhang Township of Changcun is responsible for the management of Xuchang Economic and Technological Development Zone.
On November 24, 2016, the State Council issued the reply of the State Council on Approving the adjustment of some administrative divisions of Xuchang City in Henan Province, which agreed to abolish Xuchang County and establish Jian'an District of Xuchang City, with the former administrative region of Xuchang County as the administrative region of Jian'an District, and the people's Government of Jian'an District stationed at the intersection of Xinyuan Avenue and old 107 National Road in Shangji town of Jian'an district.
On February 5, 2017, the people's Government of Jian'an District of Xuchang city was established.
On March 27, 2020, Changsheng sub district office held a listing ceremony.
