Historical evolution
The name of Hua county began in 1374. As for "Hua", Gai is named after Huatai city. In 1370, Baima county was abandoned to Huazhou. In the seventh year, Huazhou became Huaxian.
In the third year of Yongzheng reign of Qing Dynasty, Huaxian county was transferred to Weihui Prefecture of Henan Province.
