After more than ten years of construction and development, Pingdingshan high tech Zone has formed nylon chemical industry, mechanical and electrical equipment, new building materials, trade logistics and other industries. Development status

In the coming period, Pingdingshan high tech Zone will take Deng Xiaoping Theory and the important thought of "Three Represents" as the guidance, fully implement the scientific outlook on development, combine with a new round of land use and urban and rural planning revision, take the high-tech industrial agglomeration zone as an important carrier, conscientiously formulate and implement the "three plans" (i.e. master plan, special plan and regulatory detailed plan), and actively promote the development "Three systems construction" (namely modern urban system, modern industrial system and independent innovation system), focusing on project construction, and carrying out investment promotion and enterprise cultivation around five industrial clusters. In 2009, Pingdingshan high tech Zone started the construction of 10 projects of Xinping University, with a total investment of 10000 yuan. By 2013, the development area will reach 14 square kilometers, and there will be more than 350 enterprises entering the zone, including more than 30 enterprises with an output value of over 100 million yuan, the total income of technology, industry and trade will reach 30 billion yuan, the total industrial output value will reach 24 billion yuan, the GDP will reach 8 billion yuan, and the total profit and tax will reach 3 billion yuan.
