In 1953, Nanguan District was set up.

On May 30, 2005, with the approval of the State Council (Guo Han 44), Nanguan District of Kaifeng City was renamed yuwangtai District of Kaifeng City.

Fanta

Fanta is located in the southeast of the ancient city of Kaifeng. It was built in the seventh year of Kaibao (974) of the Northern Song Dynasty. It was originally named Xingci pagoda. Because it was built in Tianqing temple, the royal temple of the Northern Song Dynasty, it is also called Tianqing Temple Pagoda. Because it was built on FanTai, it is commonly known as Fanta. Yu Wangtai

Yuwangtai, also known as guhoutai, is located about 1.5 kilometers southeast of Kaifeng City. It is a tourist attraction in Kaifeng. Now it is yuwangtai Park, covering an area of more than 400 mu.
