Weihai Lingang Economic and Technological Development Zone Weihai Lingang Economic and Technological Development Zone (formerly known as Weihai Industrial New Area) is located in the central part of Weihai City and the center of Weihai urban agglomeration. Its predecessor, Weihai Industrial Park, was established in 2006 with the approval of Shandong Provincial People's government and reported to the State Council for the record.
