During the reign of Emperor Qianlong, there were four families named "yingshou" (the people who released the Eagles) who hunted pheasants and rabbits as sacrifices and sent them to the eastern Mausoleum of the Qing Dynasty on November 28 every year, hence the name "yingshou yingzi". In the 15th year of Kangxi (1676), it belonged to Zunhua Prefecture of shuntianfu, in the 27th year of Kangxi (1688), it belonged to Zunhua Prefecture of East Road Hall of shuntianfu, and in the 8th year of Qianlong (1743), it belonged to Zhili Prefecture of Zunhua. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, the ban was lifted in this area, and the village was established gradually.

In June 1956, with the approval of the State Council, yingshouyingzi and Shouwangfen were put under the jurisdiction of Chengde City and yingshouyingzi mining area was set up. In July 1958, with the approval of Hebei Provincial Committee and Hebei Provincial People's Committee, yingshouyingzi mining area was under the jurisdiction of Xinglong County. In February 1965, yingshouyingzi mining area was put under the jurisdiction of Chengde city.
