It's a trap to pick up money and divide it equally

This is a rather old-fashioned scam. There are four main steps for swindlers to cheat people

(1) Pick up money: when you are walking on the road, someone in front of you suddenly drops a wallet out on purpose. If you plan to stoop to pick it up, someone next to you will pick it up first and say there is a lot of money in it.

(2) Cent: the person who picks up the money will offer to share the money with you in good faith.

(3) Cheat money: the person who lost his wallet on purpose will return to ask if anyone has found his wallet, and immediately confirm that you and another person picked up his wallet, and also ask to go to the public security bureau to confront him. Another money collector showed "goodwill" again at this time. He said that he and the owner went to the Public Security Bureau, but in order to prevent you from swallowing your wallet alone, he asked you to give him some money as a "deposit". Faced with the threat of money losing swindlers, the good intentions of money picking swindlers, and the multiple pressures of the temptation of property in the wallet, pedestrians often give their property to swindlers without thinking.

(4) Escape: when the swindler wins, he will immediately find various reasons to leave the scene. When the victim is alert, the swindler has disappeared.

In the face of this kind of wallet fraud, the advice given by the police is "don't look, don't listen, ignore", once found cheated, report to the police immediately.
