Making use of psychological illusion

Asking for help is an important way to make others trust you.

Because if the other party listens to what we are saying, they will feel that the other party is standing on the same position as themselves, thus creating a psychological relief, and it is easy to accept the other party's opinions and suggestions.

Watching the "trouble talk show" on TV, we can find that almost 100% of the interviewers talk about "if it's me". For example, after listening to the current situation of the applicant who is distressed by the divorce problem, the interviewer will say, "if I were you, I would endure for a period of time". The reason why the applicant obeys this sentence without any reason is that after hearing "if I were you", he has the illusion that "this person is totally in my position to imagine for me".

Once you fall into this psychological trap, even if it's bad for you, you will think that you are listening to the advice for your own good.
