Yuecheng Dragon Mother's birthday is a traditional folk custom held regularly in Yuecheng Dragon Mother's ancestral temple in Deqing County, Guangdong Province.

Yuecheng Dragon Mother ancestral temple was built in the Qin and Han Dynasties. During the reign of song Xining, the dragon mother was given as Yongji's wife. Now it is a national key cultural relic protection unit.

Every year when Dragon Mother's birthday is from the first day of May to the eighth day of the lunar calendar and dragon mother's Taoist birthday is from the first day of August to the eighth day of the lunar calendar, local people from all walks of life hold grand temple fairs to pray for good luck and blessings, and believers at home and abroad come in an endless stream.

The main contents of dragon mother's birthday include pilgrimage, bathing, changing clothes, offering sacrifices to the filial son of the dragon, offering alms and releasing life, and paying homage to the holy sites.
