Guanbai village is 50 kilometers away from Leishan County, 14 kilometers away from Xijiang town and 41 kilometers away from Kaili, the capital of the Autonomous Prefecture. Kongbai village is adjacent to Nandao village of Taijiang County in the East, Maliao village of Leishan County in the north, wugao village in the West and baozi village in the south.

The main road is kaipai Road, which is in the process of road hardening. The road connects Xijiang town of Leishan county and paiyang township of Taijiang county. Zhaizi is about one kilometer away from the road. The other road connects to baozi village, passes through Kongbai village and connects to kaipai highway.

After the completion of the village main road and branch road pavement hardening, trunk road width of 2 meters, branch road width of 1 meter, smooth road. Because there is no drainage ditch on both sides of the road, it has brought great obstacles to the drainage work. Due to the lack of drainage facilities, there will be accumulated water and soil sliding from the road sill in rainy days.

Kongbai village is mainly composed of Shangzhai, Zhongzhai, Xiazhai and Xinzhai. There are 202 households with 12 groups, with a total population of 1292. There are five surnames: Li, mu, long, Yang and pan. Since 2001, the total population of Kongbai village has remained stable. There are more elderly people in the village, showing an aging trend. The ratio of male to female is slightly more than that of female.

The vast majority of school-age students in the village can enter school in time to receive compulsory education. However, 82% of the villagers had junior high school education or below.

The houses in the village are mainly two-story buildings, accounting for 60%, with good quality; one story bungalows, accounting for 33%, with average quality; most of them were built in the 1970s or even earlier. 40% of the villagers have a housing area of 80-120 square meters, and 53% have a housing area of 120-200 square meters. More than 76% of the residents have built a 1-2 square meter dry toilet outside their houses, which is not very convenient to use.

Among the surveyed villagers, 31% are satisfied with the existing housing conditions, 34% are average, and 35% are dissatisfied. 88% of the villagers renovated or built new houses in recent years on the basis of young people's marriage and separation. It costs more than 80000 yuan to build a house. 35% of the villagers are willing to build new houses in the original place, and 61% are willing to build new residential areas. 23% of villagers choose 100-150 square meters, 38% choose 150-180 square meters, and 30% choose 180-200 square meters. 54% of the villagers think that the storage of agricultural machinery must be considered in the new housing. 67% of the villagers thought that family breeding should be considered properly in new housing.
