Taizhou Fucheng folk custom museum

Taizhou Fucheng folk custom museum is wholly owned by Huang Dashu of Linhai ancient architecture engineering company. The museum is divided into four parts: flower bed culture, lighting culture, clothing culture and farming culture. Most of the items on display are "folk treasures" of Taizhou before the founding of the people's Republic of China.

Development history

On February 12, 2011, Taizhou Fucheng folk custom museum opened in Ziyang Street, Linhai City. Zhou Wenzhang, vice president of the National Academy of administration, delivered a speech. Shan Jixiang, director of the State Administration of cultural relics, sent a congratulatory letter. Luo Zhewen, head of the expert group of the State Administration of cultural relics, LV Zhou, vice chairman of the China Association for the protection of cultural relics and historic sites, Qingyuan, former chief engineer of the China Academy of cultural heritage, and other leaders and experts attended the opening ceremony.

The museum is a special museum for displaying folk customs and folk goods. The museum is divided into four parts: flower bed culture, lighting culture, clothing culture and farming culture. It mainly collects and displays nearly 1000 pieces of wedding beds, furniture, lamps, clothing and farming tools from the early Qing Dynasty to modern times. It shows the profound cultural heritage of Taizhou City and sets a model for social forces to participate in cultural construction. 　

Collection

In particular, the flower bed hall has 118 flower beds, divided into two varieties and more than 20 series. All kinds of flower beds, inlaid with gold and silver, exquisitely carved and rich in connotation, are mostly made by folk artists in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, including shelf bed, Babu bed and half bed, three bend upside down, seven bend upside down, sleeping cabinet bed and shell bed, bone bed, etc., which are the largest collection "bed owners" in Zhejiang Province at present.
