Beilun Forest Botanical Garden

The botanical garden is mainly composed of local forest plants in Zhejiang Province, supplemented by mid subtropical forest plants in East China. It focuses on the collection and preservation of plant germplasm resources of greening and ornamental, material economy, medical health care, rare and endangered, and regional endemic plants.

The master plan of Beilun forest botanical garden has passed the expert evaluation and started the construction. The total investment of the botanical garden is 130 million yuan.

geographical environment

Beilun forest botanical garden is about 15 kilometers away from Beilun City, adjacent to Jiufeng Mountain, Xinlu reservoir and other landscapes. The planned area of the botanical garden is about 10030 mu, including 2500 mu of the core park. The landscape is changeable, the soil layer is deep, and the water supply and drainage conditions are good, which is very conducive to the planting, cultivation and experimental research of various plants.

The botanical garden is planned by Zhejiang agriculture and Forestry University. Traffic information: self driving route to take the 329 National Road: Ningbo East Ring Road - Wuxiang - ayuwang temple - Daqi - drive a few kilometers south along the sea line to reach the destination, there are obvious signs, the whole 40 km.

Take bus 756 (or 750) from Ningbo to Daqi, and then take bus 787 to Xinlu forest station.
