Dehegenyi Art Museum

Dehegenyi art museum is located in Donggu Lake Scenic Area of Xiangshan County with beautiful scenery and rich culture. Xiangwang Wenfeng pagoda, adjacent to the 6000 year old prehistoric cultural site of Tashan, faces south from the north and is close to mountains and rivers. It is the inheritance base of intangible cultural heritage in Zhejiang Province, the external publicity base of Ningbo City, the cultural tourist attraction of Xiangshan County, the place for cultural exchange activities and the home for spiritual conservation.

Dehe root art museum is located beside Donggu lake, Dandong Street, Xiangshan County. 5.1 mu of land was allocated by the government and invested 10 million yuan by Zhang De and himself. Wu Liangyong, Professor of Tsinghua University, academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Sciences, international famous architectural design expert and master of architecture, together with his senior doctor song Yehao, designed the root art museum for Zhang Dehe free of charge. It is the largest root carving art museum in China at present. More than 200 pieces of bamboo root carvings created by 40 Xiangshan root carving artists are displayed in the exhibition hall, which obviously has the architectural style of emblem. It shows the unique artistic charm of the new generation of "Zhejiang famous carvings".

The main structure of the art museum adopts the garden pattern of Jiangnan quadrangle, with high and low levels, one-step terrace and one-step corridor, and antique. Strive to become a platform for external exchange and exhibition of Xiangshan bamboo root carving and a root carving art center integrating creation, research and training. There are "zhangdehe root carving art exhibition room", "zhangdehe ancient folk art collection exhibition room" and "Xiangshan folk art boutique exhibition room", with "zhangdehe Root Art Research Institute", "China root art advanced training class", "academic exchange hall", "cultural leisure tea room", "Arts and crafts shopping mall" as one of the multi-functional cultural venues. Pan Gongkai, President of the Central Academy of fine arts, Yu Qiuyu, a famous cultural scholar, and many other famous artists have also visited here, and all of them have high praise. The museum adheres to the principle of making friends with roots and supporting the museum with arts, aiming to write a new chapter for carrying forward the advanced national culture and excellent crafts, protecting and beautifying the spiritual garden of mankind!
