Haixinsha square

Haixinsha square is the venue of the opening ceremony of the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games. It is very close to Ersha Island, Guangzhou Bridge, Liede Bridge, Haizhu island and Guangzhou tower. It is the endpoint of the axis of the core area of the Pearl River new town. As one of the only islands in the Pearl River, Haixinsha has been positioned as an ecological and leisure island.
