Shexian Museum

Shexian Museum, a local comprehensive museum, is located in Xin'an stele garden, Shexian County, Anhui Province. It was established in February 1958, merged into the county cultural center in 1961, and restored in April 1978. It has 11 staff members, including storage and research department, display department, security department and Museum office. Shexian museum the newly established exhibition hall of Wang's painting and calligraphy and the exhibition hall of metal utensils have been officially opened to the public since May 18, 2008, becoming a new attraction of the museum.

In September 2018, Shexian museum was approved as a national second-class Museum by China Museum Association.

Basic Display

"Xin'an stele garden stone inscription display" is divided into two sets of Calligraphy: "Yu qingzhai" and "qingjiantang". Yu qingzhai is divided into two parts: the original and the sequel, including seventeen, Chi Ru, Lanting preface, Yue Yi Lun, Huang Ting Jing, Bo Yuan, Zhong Qiu, Ji Shi, Qian Zi, Ya tou Wan, Ming Yuan, etc.; Qing Jian Tang includes the main part of Qing Ning Tang. Huizhou three carving exhibition mainly displays brick, wood, stone carvings and ancient building components since Ming and Qing Dynasties.

The exhibition mainly displays paintings, calligraphy, ceramics, bronze, inkstones, etc.

Collection

Now there are 30000 specimens of various cultural relics, featuring porcelain, calligraphy and painting, inkstones. Among them: 2564 pieces of calligraphy and painting, 722 pieces of ceramics, 19175 volumes of ancient books and rare books, 432 pieces of literature archives, 7547 pieces of jade, tablet, inkstone, seal, bronze and other kinds of collections. The collection of porcelain is well-known throughout the country for its two hoards of Yuan porcelain treasures; the collection of calligraphy and painting includes the album of GUI daoren of Xin'an School of painting, Huang Binhong's landscape paintings, Ming linliang middle hall, Cha Shibiao Xingshu hall, Chen Jiayan's Plum Blossom White head scroll and other fine works; the inkstones include Tang style inkstones and Wang Tingna's inscription inkstones. Hui Style brick and wood carvings are also prominent. Among the cultural relics in the collection of the museum, 74 national first-class cultural relics, 193 national second-class cultural relics and 1424 national third-class cultural relics have been identified by the national and provincial cultural relics departments, and some of them have not been identified.

The paper version of Huang Binhong's painting of fishing in autumn mountain is 141.5 cm in length and 78.3 cm in width. It was written in the year of Wuchen (1928) and was a mid-term work of Bin Hong. The title of the painting is "Wu Chen leap moon, Mr. Shaozu's Bocan Huang Binhong painting". The seal is the "yellow seal" in the white and the "Binhong" in the white.

Longquan fish wash Yuan Dynasty. The diameter is 13 cm, the bottom diameter is 5.7 cm and the height is 3.5 cm. Open wash, wide edge, arc belly, circle foot. Light green glaze, wash a pair of protruding fish.

The diameter of the Qing blue and white flower pot is 39.5 cm, the bottom diameter is 28.3 cm, and the height is 22.8 cm. Open, arc belly, flat bottom, bottom with a round hole, abdomen decorated with blue and white flowers, with base.

In order to improve the quality of museum staff and strengthen personnel training, since 1982, a total of 20 people have gone to universities such as anda, Fudan University and Southeast University for training. At present, there are 2 personnel with intermediate professional titles and 8 personnel with junior professional titles. Among them, there are 1 graduate, 2 undergraduate and 3 junior college students.
