Sigui village is located in the northwest of Nanling Township, Lianhua County, Jiangxi Province. The total area of the village is about 5.6 square kilometers, with an agricultural population of 1451. The village has 952 mu of cultivated land, 765 mu of paddy field and 5410 mu of forest land.

In 2009, the average annual income of farmers in Sigui village reached 5020 yuan. The village has eight party groups with 39 members. The average age of Party members is 55 years old, the oldest is 82 years old, the youngest is 23 years old. From 2007 to 2009, the village was named as "beautiful village" in Pingxiang new rural construction for three consecutive years. In 2010, the village won the titles of civilized village in Pingxiang City and top 100 beautiful villages in Jiangxi Province. In recent years, the Party branch of Sigui village, taking learning and practicing the scientific outlook on development as an opportunity and building a new Sigui with ecological civilization as the goal, has made every effort to promote the construction of a new socialist countryside. Sigui village has won the title of "model village of democracy and rule of law" in the whole province after winning the title of "beautiful village" and "five good" grassroots party organization demonstration site in the whole city for three consecutive years.

The two committees of Sigui village have established farmers' cooperative organizations such as rape Association, Camellia oleifera Association and Transportation Association. At the same time, we used the mountain forest resources of our village to develop the flower and seedling industry, and also introduced Zhejiang merchants to invest 5 million yuan in the construction of Sigui grape base. These two "three cultivation and two belt" agricultural demonstration bases solved most of the surplus labor force in our village, promoted the whole village to become rich, and provided the foundation for realizing the great transformation of economic development.

Improve infrastructure and promote the construction of new countryside. In the past, Sigui village used to be "row after row of bullpen toilets, with sludge and garbage everywhere.". With the strong support and cooperation of the party members, the village Party branch eliminated all difficulties and thoroughly transformed the bullpen toilet in the whole village. Especially for the natural villages with concentrated human settlements, it made good planning and greening, and encouraged the masses to beautify their homes and purify the environment. Through the introduction of project funds of 500000 yuan, 3000 meters of flood dike was built. We will implement the rural drinking water safety project, build two reservoirs, and call on Party members to take the lead in raising funds to lay tap water pipes, so that people and animals can drink clean mountain spring water. Some villagers live in remote areas, but as long as there are 3-5 families, they will be provided with cement roads, which have been basically realized.

Enrich spare time life and improve spiritual civilization. The Party branch of Sigui village is fully aware that the main reason for the dull cultural life of farmers is the lack of rural cultural facilities and cultural positions. To this end, the village Party branch vigorously carried out mass activities to create spiritual civilization, invested 16000 yuan to purchase musical instruments, set up military drum team and waist drum team, and set up cultural activity room, so that farmers who like literature and art can enjoy their place. We will improve the facilities for Party members' activity rooms and rural libraries, so that party members and the masses can learn and understand the party's principles and policies and learn scientific and cultural knowledge. By holding rich and colorful mass activities, the quality of villagers has been improved and the stability of the whole village has been maintained.
