Huaguang building

Huaguang building in Langzhong, also known as "ancient town Jianglou", is the earliest and most magnificent one among the existing pavilions in the ancient city of Langzhong. It is also known as "the first building of langyuan" and is the landmark building of the ancient city of Langzhong.

The building is a cross street building. The building is built on a 5-meter-high stone platform, 36 meters high, with triple eaves and a gable roof. Standing in the north of Huaguang building, you can have a panoramic view of Danqing city and Jialing landscape.

Huaguang building was built on the site of the south building built by Yuan Ying, Teng king of Tang Dynasty. It was also called the South Building in Jiajing of Ming Dynasty. Zhenjiang building and Huaguang building were later named.

Daoguang was destroyed in a fire in the 19th year of the Qing Dynasty. It was rebuilt in the sixth year of the Tongzhi reign of the Qing Dynasty (1867 AD). Ten years of civil strife survived demolition. It covers an area of 2 mu, with a construction area of 150 square meters. "The river on three sides embraces the city, and the mountains around lock the clouds." the poem "south tower" by Li Xianqing, a poet of the Song Dynasty, describes the scenery of the Jiangshan meeting. It is a landmark building in Langzhong, known as "the best River and mountain in the world". As the saying goes, "there is a Huaguang building in Langzhong, half of which rises to the sky.".

Huaguang building has a solid foundation and profound cultural accumulation. It is across the south end of Dadong street, between Shanghua street and Xiahua street, near Jialing River and facing nanjinguan ancient ferry. It is a gatehouse across the street, with triple eaves, a mountain shaped helmet roof, covered with emerald green glazed tiles. The ridge decoration is quite complicated. The heavy ridge covers people, animals and birds' kisses. The main ridge has a pearl shaped top of three meters, and the height of the building is three to sixteen meters. It has four columns of straight wood, all of which are of wood structure, with flower windows on each floor, twelve cornices flying in the air, and the top of the pagoda is mottled. Inside, there are stairs that can be climbed layer upon layer, and the surrounding corridors stand out for people to rely on, and there are more poetry plaques for people to admire. The stone arch at the bottom of the building has a stone slogan written by the political department when Xu Qianqian and Li Xiannian commanded the Fourth Front Army of the Red Army in 1933.

Huaguang building is a gatehouse across the street. It is built on a stone platform with a height of 5 meters. It is 36 meters high and has four floors. It has three eaves and a gable roof. It is covered with emerald green glazed tiles. The ridge decoration is complex. The ridge covers the kisses of human, animal and residence. The main ridge is a jewel shaped top with a height of 3 meters. Each floor is decorated with a flower gate, with a circle of outline. Inside the floor, there are the epitome of "langfan 12th floor" and celebrity paintings and calligraphy. The scenery of the ancient city is beautiful.

Song Renzong Zhizhou Li Xianqing "south tower" poem: "three sides of the river light embrace the city, surrounded by mountains lock smoke." It can be seen that Huaguang building is the landmark of Langzhong ancient city. The stone platform foundation at the bottom of the building is arched from north to south for pedestrians to pass through. The Red Army slogans are engraved on the stone platform foundation. On the side door of the ground floor, there is a horizontal plaque with four gold characters of "Duxiu Sanba" inscribed by Guo Moruo. Inside and outside Shanghua street, Xiahua street and Huaguang building, it used to be the downtown area of Langzhong. Jin Yulin's poem "climbing Hualou at night" reads: "it's never night in the spring city, and people talk like a tide in the city." This is a true portrayal of the prosperous scene in the area at that time.
