Zhongshan Academy

Completed in November 1994, it is mainly used to commemorate Dr. Sun Yat Sen's academic research and cultural exchanges.

The academy is a two-story palace style building, facing south, with double eaves and flying corners, red columns, white walls and green tiles. A bust of Dr. Sun Yat Sen is placed in the middle of the first floor. The west hall displays various versions of Sun Yat Sen's works, academic works of Sun Yat Sen's research, literature and history books and periodicals of Zhongshan Mausoleum, etc., with large-scale photos of Sun Yat Sen's various eras hanging on the wall; the east hall displays fine paintings and calligraphy collected by Zhongshan Mausoleum. The second floor is the reception hall for the conference, and the recording of Dr. Sun Yat Sen's speech before his death is played.

The building area of the academy is more than 2800 square meters, surrounded by lawns, and planted with Osmanthus fragrans, camellia, plum blossom, juniper, Magnolia grandiflora, Cedrus and other plants. The environment is quiet and elegant.
