Changhong Park

Changhong park is a daily leisure park in Tianjin. In the west of the park, there are children's paradise, roller skating rink and other amusement facilities, which are amusement areas; in the south, Nanhu is a boating area; in the northwest corner, there is Qinian Pavilion, which is a place for tourists' gathering and cultural activities, and adjacent to it, there is a large underground playground, Fenghua palace. The peach garden of Changhong park is the largest peach forest with the largest area and the most varieties in Tianjin. It is famous for its beautiful plant shape and magnificent blooming period. The peach Festival is held in April every year.

Changhong Park

Changhong park is located under the overpass of Changjiang Road and Hongqi Road in Nankai District of Tianjin. It is the first free park in Tianjin. It was originally named Wan Dou park. It covers an area of 33.9 hectares, including 12.5 hectares of water surface.

Development history

Changhong Park was built and opened in 1986. It covers an area of 33 hectares, including 20 hectares of green space, 7 hectares of water area and more than 50 kinds of plants. Because Changhong park is a simple Park, plant species tend to be monotonous, lack of changes in topography, spatial layout is not reasonable, landscape effect is also lack of hierarchy. After more than 20 years of wind and rain, nowadays, the facilities in the park are aging, and the illegal buildings occupy the green space seriously, which is incompatible with the current goal of building a garden city and an ecological city.

At the beginning of the new year, the upgrading and reconstruction project of "Changhong park built into an open ecological garden landscape park", which has been listed as the No.1 proposal of Nankai District government, is in full swing. Excavators, transport vehicles and busy construction personnel are working intensively to create a hot construction scene. Yesterday, a person in charge of the Bureau of landscape architecture of Nankai District said that as the first Changhong Park in the urban area to be transformed into a new ecological park, including Nankai Park and Nanyuan Park, all parks in Nankai District will be open to the general public free of charge.

As of yesterday, the old buildings and facilities in Changhong park have been demolished, the terrain and landform have been sorted out, the mountains have been piled up, the trees have been transplanted, and the water system has been laid. At the same time, the infrastructure construction of Ximen entrance, zhanshengxuan, Nanping mountain, Zhansheng corridor, Jiangnan Renjia, Cuixin Island, Taohua Island, hydrophilic embankment and four scenic bridges has been completed, which creates favorable conditions for the comprehensive development of the project.

Main attractions

The rockery stands in front of the gate, with a lake on the right side and willows on the bank. The green area of the whole garden accounts for 97.5%. In the west of the park, there are children's playground, roller skating rink and other amusement facilities, which are amusement areas; in the south, Nanhu is rowing area. Qinian Pavilion is built in the northwest corner of the park, which is a place for tourists' gathering and cultural activities. Adjacent to it, there is a large underground playground Fenghua palace, with a construction area of 3319 square meters. It is a place integrating entertainment, rest and shopping.

In the park, there are monuments to the founders of the four early Pingju schools in Tianjin, with inscriptions on the lives of Li Jinshun, Bai Yushuang, Liu Cuixia and AI Lianjun.

According to the four principles of "landscape architecture, southern architecture, plant landscaping and ecological landscaping", the new Changhong park will be divided into six functional areas: sightseeing and leisure area, health sports area, plant viewing area, water activity area, subtropical greenhouse viewing area, management and service area, and an activity square that can accommodate 3000 people. It is reported that the green area of the ecological new Changhong park will reach 215000 square meters, with an additional water area of 19500 square meters. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Jiangnan Water Town in the park by boat.

Sightseeing and leisure area: located in the southwest of the park, it is the central area of the park landscape. The area includes four landscape areas: landscape garden, sightseeing corridor, West entrance and south entrance. The landscape garden makes use of the existing enclosed space of islands, water, plants and land, adopts the southern architectural style to build a typical Chinese landscape courtyard and become the characteristic landscape of the garden; the sightseeing corridor is built along the lake and decorated with suitable architectural sketches and leisure facilities; the west entrance uses the existing background plants as the background to increase the mountains, rocks and waterfalls, shorten the entrance distance and integrate with the park At the south entrance, the scenic spot of Nanping mountain is newly built, and the scenery stone is connected with the lake water, forming a waterfall and water overlapping, creating a natural artistic conception.

Health sports area: located in the middle of the park, it mainly includes four parts: Fitness square, children's paradise, sports lawn and water fishing.

Plant viewing and subtropical greenhouse viewing area: located in the north of the park, including two exhibition areas of aquatic plants and subtropical greenhouse crops, colorful flowers and unique subtropical rainforest scenery make it unique and interesting.

Water activity area: it is composed of Huzhong Island, Taohua Island, Jiangnan family, peony garden, constructed wetland and stream landscape. There are three docks in the area. Unique and pleasant water landscape, outlines a school of Jiangnan water scenery, make visitors linger.
