Changsha concert hall is located in the New River Delta riverside cultural park where Xiangjiang River and Liuyang River meet. The concert hall has four floors, including 1446 seat symphony hall, 490 seat multi-function hall, 298 seat indoor concert hall, 2 rehearsal halls, dressing room, art training center, recording studio, piano room, music coffee bar and other facilities, with a total construction area of 28161 square meters.

The foundation of Changsha concert hall was laid on August 21, 2006, officially started in December 2007 and premiered on December 28, 2015

. As the soul building of Binjiang Cultural Park, it is built according to the standard of pure concert hall, with a total construction area of about 28000 square meters and a building height of about 28 meters, mainly including more than 1400 Symphony halls, nearly 500 multi-function halls and nearly 300 chamber halls. The concert hall has complete functions, including music performance, catering and leisure, art training and VIP reception. It can accommodate about 3000 music lovers to enjoy art and participate in art training at the same time.

Design

The pattern on the outer wall of Changsha concert hall is based on the famous song "Xiaoxiang Shuiyun" composed by Guqin player, composer and educator Mi Mian of Southern Song Dynasty during his exile in Hengyang. The melody is melodious and tactful, expressing the author's thoughts and feelings of worrying about the country and the people. The way of recording the music score adopts the traditional Chinese character subtraction score, and is mixed with the western music notation after fission and transformation. Jian Zi Pu was founded by Cao Rou in Tang Dynasty and perfected in Song Dynasty. It is a unique way to record the score of Guqin in China. The unique external wall pattern fully expresses the cultural connotation of the concert hall. The concert hall emphasizes the open and surging posture of driving the whole building group forward and upward. The ups and downs of the whole riverside Cultural Park are also strengthened, and the momentum is more magnificent and powerful.

More than 1400 Symphony halls: with a total area of about 1790 square meters, the towers are scattered around the stage in a valley trapezoid shape, which can meet the performance of large multi orchestras. At the same time, the symphony hall will be installed with a pipe organ made by German kless company for Changsha concert hall, which is worth nearly 20 million yuan.

Nearly 500 seats multi-function hall: with a total area of about 745 square meters, there are extendable side tables on the left and right sides, which can meet the needs of conferences, individual concerts, small song and dance evening parties and art training.

Nearly 300 chamber halls: with a total area of 530 square meters, it has a friendly sense of space and can hold solo, solo concert and art lecture.

According to the goal of "appreciation Hall of classic art, exhibition stage of mass art, education base of elegant art, and exchange platform of culture and art", Changsha Concert Hall will hold no less than 200 high-quality performances every year after opening, striving to become a top-ranking, domestic first-class and internationally famous concert hall in Hunan Province.

Partition function

The first floor (38m elevation) of Changsha concert hall is for actors, logistics office, VIP and other functional rooms; the second floor is for leisure and exhibition space, so the audience can stay. The main entrance of the concert hall is located on the third floor. The audience can enter the third floor of the building through a variety of ramps. The overall situation can be viewed from the entrance hall.
