Former residence of Haobai village in Yancheng

The former residence of Haobo village is located in haorong village, Gewu Township, Yandu County, Jiangsu Province. It is an ordinary brick and tile structure residence composed of front and back entrance, East and South wings and patio. It is located in Lixia River and Longwei, across the river from Dazou town in Xinghua City. Not far from the former residence of Haobai village, there is a Hao's ancestral hall. About Haobo Village: Haobo village, a native of Yancheng, Jiangsu Province, was sent by his father to his family school at the age of six. Hao Yingu (known as Mr. BA) was a teacher and studied and read. At the age of ten, he was sent by his father to Shangzhuang primary school, which is more than ten miles away from home. Then he went to the second senior primary school in Yancheng county and was admitted to Yancheng middle school after graduation. At the age of seventeen, he applied for the fourth phase of Huangpu Military Academy in Nanjing and began his military career. During the Anti Japanese War, he took part in the battle of Guangzhou and guarded Humen fort. Later, he went to Burma with the 38th division of Chinese Expeditionary Army led by sun Liren, and retreated to India after defeat. During the Liao Shen war, he was recalled from the front line of Jinzhou and became a member of Chiang Kai Shek's Chamberlain. After the liberation of the mainland, he went to Taiwan to guard Kinmen first, and then he was promoted to director of Chiang Kai Shek's office where to go, chief of staff of Chiang Ching Kuo's "President" and Minister of national defense. After Lee Teng Hui came to power, he took the post of premier, vice chairman of the center and Senior Minister of the presidential office.
