Xianshan

Xianshan is a Xianyin mountain. The sage refers to the pan of Han and Zhou dynasties. Zhou pan word Bojian, after Han an adult, and the emperor when the worship, move Yang Xia coincidence order. After Zhou pan missed his mother and didn't want to be an official, he resigned and returned to his hometown in seclusion, so he was named Xianyin mountain.

Xianshan

Located in Xianshan village, Hudong office, Shihe District, Xinyang City, Henan Province, 10 kilometers away from the urban area. It is 600 meters above sea level, covering more than 90% of the forest area.

In 1747 (the 12th year of the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty), Zhang Yue, the magistrate of Xinyang, wrote eight poems about the beauty of Xinyang scenery: Xianling SONGFENG, Shihe fanyue, shenta Zhaohui, evening photo of kuilou, Longtan waterfall, leiruoyun, Guishan Qingxue and Changtai gudu. Since then, the scenery described in these eight poems has become "eight sceneries of Xinyang". For more than 200 years, Xinyang people have been talking about it with relish.

The whole poem of Xianling SONGFENG is as follows:

In the past, the hermit was high and secluded;

Pine dense smoke speed look, wind turning green to flow;

Fanjian Duobao temple is full of love;

It is suspected that Penglai is the best place to visit in Shennan.

The whole Xianling mountain is covered with pine trees, commonly known as Pingding pine. The trunk is not straight, but curly and various. The breeze is blowing and the sound of the waves is everywhere.

In the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty, Zhang Zhuo, the Taoist Yin of Southern Ru Guang, visited Xianshan mountain and inscribed the word "Xianling SONGFENG" in person. He carved a stone and set up a stele at the foot of Xianshan mountain. There are many places of interest such as Xianyin temple, Xianyin cave, Lujian, Biru spring, immortal bed, zhangren stone and so on.
