Tai'erzhuang canal exhibition hall

Taierzhuang canal exhibition hall is the first canal exhibition hall in China. In front of the exhibition hall stand four stone statues of Xia Yu, ancient astronomer and water conservancy expert Guo Shoujing, Li Hualong, the right Minister of the River Engineering Department of the prime minister during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, and Yu Chenglong, who was in charge of canal transportation in Yi County of the Qing Dynasty. In the museum, there are collected cultural relics such as various ancient ships, ship tools, unearthed pottery and stone tablets, as well as various materials and pictures reflecting the history and culture of the canal, the sand table of the historical evolution of the Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal and the Taierzhuang canal, the model of the ancient grain transport boat, the clay sculpture fleet, and the lock model of the canal in various historical periods. The exhibition is divided into the Beijing Hangzhou canal with a long history and the changing with each passing day The five parts of the grand canal construction, the booming canal economy, the rich and colorful canal culture, and the grand blueprint for the development and construction of the Grand Canal systematically show the history and culture of the Grand Canal.
