Jiangzhou hall was built in Tang Dynasty. According to historical records, when Emperor Taizong of Tang Dynasty went to Korea, he ordered Zhang Shigui, the left general, to set up an account here to raise troops, so it is also called "Shuai Zhengtang". Since then, it has become the office of the prefecture government in the past dynasties. The existing hall is a legacy of the Yuan Dynasty. Jiangzhou hall is seven rooms wide and eight rafters deep. It has a single eaves on the top of the hill. Under the eaves, there are five pavilions, which are used as a single arch. The lobby is tall and broad, majestic and spectacular. According to ancient architecture experts, there are five prefectures in China, while there are only seven in Jiangzhou, which is rare in China. At present, there are still three prefectural halls in China, among which Yizhou hall is the best.
