Suzhou sports center is not only a major practical project of Suzhou municipal Party committee and government, but also a cross century landmark project of Suzhou social public utilities. It is located in the southeast of Shishan bridge in the prosperous area of Sanxiang road in Suzhou.

Introduction to the stadium

The building has a magnificent scale, excellent geographical environment, water and land transportation in all directions, crisscross communication network, green coverage, shade, rich cultural flavor, artistic sculpture, complete sports and cultural facilities, complete supporting services, and intensive business, logistics and people flow. With the West Ring Road as the boundary and the east area as the gymnasium area, the building area is 42627 square meters. It has a 6000 seat gymnasium with four floors for the main gymnasium, two floors for the attached gymnasium and three floors for some parts. The western district is a stadium area with a building area of 28548 square meters, with a seat of 35000, an 8 × 400m runway and a standard football field. The East and west areas are connected by two footbridges, connecting the stadium as a whole. The gymnasium is located in the east of the gymnasium, with a construction area of 41000 square meters. There are 20 kinds of sports in the gymnasium, including swimming, badminton, squash, shooting, rock climbing, chess and card, bodybuilding, leisure sauna, physical fitness test, fitness guidance, sports culture, etc. International famous brand supermarkets are set up in the basement on the ground floor, and coffee bars and darts are added on the roof platform.
