Fenghuangling nature park in Beijing is a national AAAA scenic spot in China. The scenic spot is located in the northwest of Haidian District, 51 kilometers away from Tiananmen Square, with a total area of 10.62 square kilometers.

Longquan Temple

Longquan Temple is located in the lower reaches of Fenghuang mountain. It was first built in Liao Dynasty. It is a temple in northwest Beijing, integrating Buddhism, Taoism and local religion

Three Buddha cave

The three Buddha cave is also called the three body Buddha cave. According to the Mahayana chapter, it represents three different prosperity incarnations of Sakyamuni Buddha. One of them is the Dharma Buddha, and the name "luzhana Buddha" means that the absolute truth is the Buddha body. The left one is the embracing Buddha, and the name "Lushena Buddha" means that the absolute truth is proved. The wisdom of experiencing Dharma music is the Buddha body, and the right one is the Ying Buddha, and the name is "Sakyamuni" The three body Buddha has fine carving techniques. The Buddha wears a crown, and his hands are in harmony. The head of the two Buddhas is in a bun. The palms of the two Buddhas face up to the sky, and his hands are open to the outside. Due to years of weathering, rain erosion and man-made damage, it is hard to see.

Xuanyuan cave

Xuanyuan cave, commonly known as "Eight Immortals cave", is carved on a piece of pot shaped granite lying on the bottom of the cave. The cave gate was originally in the house, and the house has collapsed. On the front of the entrance, there are three immortals, one foot and a half high, sitting with knees crossed, big ear lobes and shoulders, smiling with different gestures. There are three immortals on the left wall and two immortals on the right wall, of which three are male and two are female. Their hands are perpendicular to the lower Dantian. The female stands with her hands together, and the height is the same as the sitting figure. The rainwater flows into the cave along the stone trough and flows out in a strange shape, which can purify the air. This cave is the place where the ancients closed their doors to practice and seek their own liberation. From the structure of the cave, it looks like the product of Liao and Jin Dynasties. The Eight Immortals in the cave do not belong to what kind of designation, but reflect the Health Qigong culture of Liao and Jin Dynasties. Xuanyuan cave, Xiuxian cave and Xiuxian chair in Fenghuangling scenic area are well preserved Qigong culture places in northern China.

Fengyun cave

It is said that a thousand years ago, the unicorn beast, the mount of Manjusri Bodhisattva, mistakenly broke into taishanglaojun's residence and ate the fire pill in the alchemy furnace. But the unicorn was not good enough, and his whole body burned. Afraid of being blamed by the Bodhisattva, he rushed into the golden dragon pool to save his life. Since then, the water in this pool has been hot all the year round, and there is no grass on the edge of the pool. Seeing this, Guanyin enlightened the unicorn beast and said, "is a unicorn a thing in the pool? It turns into a dragon in case of a storm.". The unicorn was enlightened. As soon as he saw the harmony in the cave, he jumped into the cave. A piece of golden light flashed by, and the unicorn turned into a huge golden dragon. Since then, Shuitan has returned to normal, hence the name "Fengyun cave".

Jade rabbit stone

Jade rabbit stone is a natural scenic stone, which is like a jade rabbit lying prone here. The stone is large in shape and beautiful in legend. It is an important part of the natural landscape of Fenghuangling. It is said that in those days Chang'e and the jade rabbit passed by here, and put the jade rabbit in the cool mountain spring of Miaofeng Valley to drink. When Yutu saw some rabbits playing in the grass, she couldn't help running to play with them. Since then, Yutu has been lying on her stomach in miaofenggou, waiting patiently for her master to take her back to the fairyland of the Moon Palace.

Ornamental red leaves

The scenery of Fenghuangling in autumn is charming. It's cool in autumn. Ginkgo biloba gradually turns yellow. The torch, Cotinus coggygria and maple leaves gradually turn red. It's a good place for you to watch the red leaves.

apricot flower

At the end of March and the beginning of April every year, more than 600 mu of apricot flowers bloom in the southern line of Fenghuangling scenic area. Apricot is a deciduous tree, and the fruit is named apricot. When the apricot flowers bloom, they turn pink and gradually turn white. The kernel in the apricot kernel has two kinds of sweet and bitter, which can be used as medicine.
