Located at the south end of the intersection of Tanghan line and Beiyang line, Beitang street, Binhai New Area, Tianjin, it is the largest ecological greening project in Binhai New Area so far. The total area of development and construction has reached 4.6 square kilometers.

A total of 9 functional areas are planned, including cultural recreation area, leisure resort area, sports and entertainment area, exotic area, animal area, ecological demonstration area, quiet rest area, hovercraft recreation area and equestrian activity area.

According to the master plan, 24 bridges are planned to be built in the forest park, and 23 have been basically completed. In the park, 19 km of main road, 10 km of auxiliary road, 7 wharves, more than 700000 square meters of Lake digging area and 6.5 million cubic meters of mound soil have been built. More than 1 million trees have been planted and 106 species of trees and shrubs have settled down in the forest park, forming characteristic forest belts such as peach blossom forest, cherry blossom forest and botanical garden. In addition to ash, Koelreuteria, locust and other traditional tree species rooted in the garden, new introduced species such as mulberry, metasequoia, Magnolia have also been settled in succession, forming a situation of symbiosis and coexistence of diverse plants.

Another characteristic is the picking garden. In the past, Tianjin Binhai New Area residents wanted to experience the fun of fruit picking, they needed to go to the farmers in Jixian County for a long distance to experience it. Now just drive to the Binhai New Area Forest Park next to Tanghan Road Venture village, and you can enjoy the fun of picking.

Different from the man-made landscape in the municipal park, the forest park in Binhai New Area mainly focuses on the natural ecological green landscape, which is full of trees, surrounded by water system and full of wild interest.
