Dalian Jinshitan National Geological Museum is located on the beautiful Jinshitan Peninsula and at the entrance of Jinshitan core scenic spot. It officially opened on November 12, 2007. With a construction area of 1500 square meters and eight exhibition halls, it is a comprehensive scenic spot integrating geological research, popular science education and tourism. Jinshitan Geological Museum makes full use of pictures and words to give a comprehensive introduction to geological knowledge from the whole to the part.
