Bridge Museum

The bridge Museum, located in the East anchorage of Haicang Bridge, is the first bridge Museum in China built in the huge anchorage of the bridge. Its shape design, rich content and advanced scientific and technological means show the high-tech level and add scenery to Haicang Bridge. The museum consists of Haicang Bridge Construction Exhibition Hall, China Bridge centenary review exhibition hall and Haicang Bridge Monitoring Center. The fifth floor is the bridge monitoring center. This is the core of Haicang Bridge traffic command. It has a variety of modern management functions, such as data acquisition, data communication, analysis and statistics, height control, document management, image and graphic display, self inspection and alarm, etc., showing the high-tech level of bridge construction in China.

The museum consists of Haicang Bridge Construction Exhibition Hall, China Bridge centenary review exhibition hall and Haicang Bridge Monitoring Center. They are displayed in two floors: the first floor is the exhibition hall of Haicang Bridge construction, and the second floor is the exhibition hall of other bridges or building bridge materials.

The museum consists of Haicang Bridge Construction Exhibition Hall, China Bridge centenary review exhibition hall and Haicang Bridge Monitoring Center. They are displayed in three levels: the first level is the exhibition hall of Haicang Bridge construction, which shows the construction process of the bridge from the aspects of bridge design, construction, scientific research, investment and financing, supervision, landscape, etc. The second floor is the Centennial review exhibition of Chinese bridges. Taking history as latitude and longitude and bridge science and technology as clue, it systematically reviews the brilliant achievements of ancient and contemporary bridge construction in China, introduces the bridge science and technology knowledge and the representative famous bridges in different historical periods in the world, as well as the planned grand bridge projects in the 21st century. In ancient China, there are well preserved Zhaozhou Bridge, Quanzhou Luoyang Bridge in Song Dynasty, Qiantang River bridge built in 1937, Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, etc.; in contemporary China, there are Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge, Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge, Shantou Bay Bridge, Xiling Gorge Yangtze River Bridge, etc., among which Shantou Bay Bridge is prestressed concrete suspension bridge.

The third floor is the bridge monitoring center. This is the core of Haicang Bridge traffic command. It has many modern management functions, such as data acquisition, data communication, analysis and statistics, height control, document management, image and graphic display, self-test alarm and so on. It shows the high-tech level of bridge construction in China.
