Hanyang Art District

"Hanyangzao" Art District, also known as "824 creative factory", is located at the foot of Guishan mountain in Wuhan. The abandoned industrial buildings used in the art district were originally part of Zhang Zhidong's Hanyang Arsenal and 824 factory during the Westernization Movement in China. Wuhan 824 factory is the code named military factory of new China, which has a similar historical background with Beijing 798 factory.

Graffiti, performance art and creative sculpture can be seen everywhere in the park. There are also wedding photo shops, cafes, wine cellars, pottery houses, creative shops, and a loft Youth Hostel
