Memorial Hall of the former site of the CPC Manchuria Provincial Committee

The former site of Manchuria Provincial Party committee of the Communist Party of China is a hard mountain style blue brick house facing south, six rooms wide and one room deep. The four rooms on the east side are the seat of Manchuria Provincial Party committee of the Communist Party of China from 1927 to 1929. It is also the former office and residence site of Chen Weiren, Secretary of the provincial Party committee. It has experienced three sessions of provincial Party committee and is one of the important revolutionary sites in Northeast China.

Located at No.3, Fu'an lane, Huangsi Road, Heping District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, the memorial hall of the former site of the CPC Manchuria Provincial Committee covers an area of 2500 square meters and an exhibition area of 740 square meters. Manchuria Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China is the highest leading body of the Communist Party of China in Northeast China from October 1927 to January 1936.

The memorial hall was opened to the public in 1985, and was reconstructed and expanded on a large scale in 2003.

Construction history

The Manchuria Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China is the highest leading body set up by the Communist Party of China in Northeast China from October 1927 to January 1936. In the great struggle against imperialism and feudalism of the Chinese people, the labor movement, peasant movement, student movement and soldier movement in Northeast China led by the Manchuria Provincial Party committee with Chen Weiren, Liu Shaoqi and Chen Tanqiu as secretaries developed and strengthened the party organization. Especially after the outbreak of the "September 18th" war, the Manchuria Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, under the leadership of the party, held high the banner of Anti Japanese, bravely and effectively organized and led the Anti Japanese war in Northeast China, which was also the first stage of the whole country. It not only made indelible contributions to the development of the Communist Party of China and the liberation of the Chinese nation, but also wrote a brilliant record in the history of the world anti fascist struggle Brilliant chapter!

The main exhibition contents of the museum include the historical display of the CPC Manchuria Provincial Committee, the restoration display of the former site of the CPC Manchuria Provincial Committee, the restoration display of Liu Shaoqi's former residence, and the local history display of the CPC Shenyang. Liu Shaoqi's former residence is located at No.2, Hongye Nanli, section 4, Huigong street, Shenhe District, Shenyang City. It is a hard mountain style house with green bricks and grey tiles. It faces south and has six main rooms, two of which are the secret residence of Comrade Liu Shaoqi in the East.

From July 1929 to March 1930, Comrade Liu Shaoqi lived here secretly when he was Secretary of the fifth Manchuria Provincial Party committee of the Communist Party of China. In 1992, Shenyang municipal government decided to rebuild it in the north of the former site of Manchuria Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, that is, No. 2, Fu'an lane, Huangsi road.
