Sister pool

--Sister pond is two adjacent lakes of different sizes. Sister pond is rectangular, while sister pond is slightly circular. It is two natural alpine swamps of different sizes.

--It is said that a couple of Aboriginal girls fell in love with a man at the same time and died here, so they were called sister pool.

--There is also an acacia pavilion with cypress as the base in jietan Lake area. There is a 180 meter long walk around the lake, which allows tourists to visit the whole lake. It is the best way to watch the sister lake.

It is said that a long time ago, there were two sisters who fell in love with a man at the same time, but they couldn't bear to rob each other of their love. So sisterhood, love between men and women tormented them. Finally, unable to extricate themselves from the pain, they had no choice but to entrust their flowering life to Tanshui with inexplicable depression and sadness, and both died for love. The infatuation between the two sisters is pathetic. However, this love story gives two pools of small water a beautiful soul, which makes the people who come here all think and sigh!

Alishan's "sister pool" is divided into sister pool and sister pool, two adjacent to the lake, the water is not deep, but the green and quiet still. From time to time, the surface of the water needs to float through a few strands of imperceptible haze, but in a moment they disappear without a trace, as if they were photographed by some spirit under the water, which seems mysterious. Traffic information: passenger transport:

1. Tourists from Taipei can take the shuttle bus from Guoguang passenger transport Taipei West B station to Jiayi station, and then transfer to Alishan.

2. Tourists from Taichung Sun Moon Lake can choose to take the "Sun Moon Lake Alishan" line at the Sun Moon Lake tourist center or Xiangshan tourist center and get off at Alishan. (only two buses a day)

Railway:

1. Take the Taiwan Railway to [Jiayi station], and then take the bus from Jiayi county to Alishan, or Taiwan haohang Alishan line B.

2. Take the high-speed rail to [Jiayi station], and then transfer to Taiwan haohang - Alishan line a to get there.

3. Take the high-speed rail to [Jiayi station], then take the express bus BRT to [Jiayi railway station], and then transfer to Taiwan haohang or passenger transport to [Alishan].

Forest Train:

Due to the influence of Typhoon Morakot, the forest railway currently refers to the section from Jiayi to fenqi lake. After arriving at fenqi lake, tourists need to transfer to other means of transportation to Alishan.
