Jinjiangshan Park

Jinjiangshan Park, with beautiful scenery, is the largest comprehensive park in Dandong. It is located on the south slope of jinjiangshan mountain in the north of the urban area and 1.8 km away from the Yalu River bank in the south. Park history

Jinjiangshan Park, formerly known as zhenjiangshan Park, was built in 1905 and changed to jinjiangshan Park in 1965.

In 1905, Japanese monks built Linji temple on the mountain, and then the Japanese moved the ashes of soldiers killed in Benxi lake, and built Japanese shrine, Bafan palace and loyalty monument on Jinjiang mountain. In 1912, the Manchurian Railway Zhuzhou style meeting opened up a place for Japanese to rest and play in Jinjiang mountain. In 1932, Jinjiang Pavilion, triangle Pavilion, wrestling field, lotus pond and zoo were added.
