Baoan Temple
Baoan Temple, located in Shuinan village, Chengguan Town, Youxi County, Fujian Province, was built in 876 AD and renamed in 894-897 Song Dynasty. In the 25th year of Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty (1760), Shanying was moved to the inner belt and dongmenwai.
The origin of temples
In 1951, Baoan Temple was occupied for other purposes. In March 1998, Shi Chencai, chairman of the county Buddhist Association, Peng Zhiming, and other fundraising sites were moved to Longjing mountain in the south of the city, covering an area of more than 4500 square meters, with a total investment of about 2 million yuan. The main hall, Yuantong hall, zaoou hall and Tianfan xuanwang hall were built. The grapes were arranged vertically in front, middle and back, and the left and right chambers and sheds were moved. The palace is tall and magnificent, with golden glazed tiles, cornices, red pillars, white walls, stone pillars and carved dragons.
On October 28, 2000, the main hall was completed, with Sakyamuni in the middle, Yanshou pharmacist on the left, Panther on the left, Amitabha Buddha on the right, and eighteen Arhats on the left and right.
The scale
Baoan Temple is 10 meters high and the Buddha statue is 6 meters high, which is the highest in the county. To Baoan Temple, there are 1260 meters mountain road, 670 multi-level Mountaineering Road, along the way there are "high mountains and flowing water" cliff inscriptions and other attractions.
