Built in 1901, the original brick and wood structure of the building, brick red exterior wall, plus the attic, a total of four floors, the whole building lines smooth.
In 2009, Qingdao Unicom, the property owner of the building, restored the old building after a hundred years of wind and rain. On November 21, 2010, Qingdao post and Telecommunications Museum, funded by Qingdao Unicom, was officially opened to the public. More than 1000 items about telecommunications, posts and telecommunications were on display. This is the first post and Telecommunications Museum in Shandong Province.
