The Silk Road International Ski Resort is located in the Tianshan Mountains, 38 kilometers south of Urumqi, the National Forest Park, pingshiliang scenic area, Shuixigou Town, Nanshan; 55 kilometers away from the International Airport, 40 kilometers away from the railway station, with very convenient first-class highway transportation.

The ski resort covers an area of about 8 square kilometers and has invested 200 million yuan. The ski resort is located in the ecological valley of the inversion zone on the north slope of Tianshan Mountain, with an altitude of 1800-2500 meters. In winter, it has sufficient sunshine, fresh air, pure snow and rich ice and snow resources. The average temperature in winter is about - 10 ℃. In summer, the scenic spot is green with green grass, green pines, cool and pleasant, with an average humidity of 50% and an average temperature of about 24 ℃.
