Harmony door

Ronghe door is made up of four 40 meter high pillars, which are linked together in pairs. The pillar is reinforced framework, concrete pouring; the surface of the pillar is paved with black granite and Portuguese macadam. All around are equipped with spotlights to illuminate the whole building at night, which is magnificent and attractive to tourists. There are also benches for visitors to rest.

Harmony door

Ronghemen is located in the West Bay reclamation area of Macao. The designer of "harmony gate" is Portuguese sculpture artist Lago Henrich. It was undertaken by Deli Construction Co., Ltd. with Portuguese capital. The total cost of the project is more than 28 million yuan. The project started in February 1993 and was completed in September.

"Ronghe gate" is located 60 meters away from the West Bay dike. It is connected with the land by a driveway and footpath. The sunset is even more spectacular. It is a very beautiful scenic line.

The design of the "harmony door" is abstract, including heaven, earth, water and force, expressing peace and love. Some people think that the "harmony door" looks like the palm arch, symbolizing the friendship between China and Portugal.
