Song art museum is an art space with international perspectives and standards. It is located on the Bank of Wenyu River, Shunyi District, Beijing. Founded by Wang Zhongjun, founder, chairman and collector of Huayi Brothers, the museum officially opened in September 2017.

Based on personal collection, the museum is committed to high-quality art exhibition, in-depth academic research and public aesthetic education. As a unique cultural landmark in Beijing, "song" Art Museum welcomes every art lover with sincere and open heart.

Introduction and concept

Pine Art Museum, covering a total area of more than 22000 square meters, indoor exhibition area of about 2200 square meters, a total of 12 exhibition halls. When the founder Mr. Wang Zhongjun conceived the main building of "song" Art Museum, he had two original intentions: one is to save and make full use of the original facilities; the other is to be concise and serve the art. In line with this concept, the architect removed the symbol of the original building, transformed everything into geometry and pure white, and made "pine" an "art container" with great tolerance and bearing capacity. Through the architecture, it conveys the feeling of "pure" and the breath of "Inaction", which makes the viewers forget the complexity and show their vocabulary and vitality without scruple, and makes the different kinds of art works natural here.

The predecessor of the song art museum is the racecourse, which is a "old house renovation" project. Using the concept of environmental protection and art, the construction of pine Art Museum has transformed itself from an abandoned Racecourse into an international and modern museum. With a construction area of more than 2000 square meters, 33 Mu courtyard and 199 distinctive pine trees, pine art museum is quiet and unique.

Name source

This unique art gallery is named "pine". In the broad and profound Chinese traditional culture, "song" is pure and solemn, which symbolizes the character of a gentleman. Both the visual beauty and the spiritual implication are in line with the founder Mr. Wang Zhongjun's personal understanding of art and the sense of mission deeply rooted in his heart. Open up a pure land for art, sincerely and seriously show the most precious spiritual wealth and emotion of human beings to the public.

founder

Mr. Wang Zhongjun, founder and chairman of Huayi Brothers Media Co., Ltd. Born in Beijing in 1960, he received a master's degree in mass media from the State University of New York in 1994. In the same year, he returned to China and founded Huayi Brothers advertising company with his brother Wang Zhonglei. In 1998, Mr. Wang Zhongjun led Huayi Brothers to enter the film and television industry, and then led the team to explore the Chinese New Year film market and create box office myths repeatedly, making Huayi Brothers the first brand of Chinese film and television companies.

Mr. Wang Zhongjun has won many awards, including 2009 Chinese cultural figure, 2009 Chinese economic leader, 2010 fashion entrepreneur, 2010 person of the year of variety, 25 most influential business leaders in 2010 and 2013, and 2016 top 10 most influential Chinese people of Hollywood report. As an independent artist, Mr. Wang Zhongjun has successfully held six art exhibitions. Mr. Wang Zhongjun is also keen on public welfare and charity. All the proceeds from the charity sale of his paintings are donated to Huayi Brothers public welfare fund.

The theme of the first exhibition - "from Van Gogh to Chinese contemporary art", presents many art treasures collected by Mr. Wang Zhongjun at home and abroad.

The exhibition is divided into three parts: Impressionist and western modern art, Chinese modern and contemporary art and Wang Zhongjun's oil paintings. The opening exhibition is named "from Van Gogh to Chinese contemporary art". Its intention is to show Mr. Wang Zhongjun's personal collections over the years through such an art exhibition that goes through time and space. At the same time, it also uses a macro background to show the Inspirations of some art masters since "impressionism" and their role and influence on Chinese modern and contemporary art. Impressionism not only plays a connecting role between classical painting and contemporary painting, but also directly affects the creation and development of Chinese oil painting.

The curator said that the exhibition intends to explore some basic tendencies and logic in contemporary art creation and narration. While paying homage to Van Gogh, Monet and Cezanne, we should pay close attention to the ecology and development of Chinese contemporary art, and promote the development of Chinese contemporary art.
