Located in Changhai County, Dalian city. In September 1954, armed with the smoke of the Korean battlefield, a PLA unit drove from the other side of the Yalu River into the Changshan Islands in the Yellow Sea, shouldering the sacred mission of guarding the motherland's coastal defense outpost.

At that time, the conditions on the island were very difficult. There was no decent road or house. There were weeds and thorns everywhere. It was a desolation. The troops lived in simple tents, ate salted water and boiled soybeans, built mountains and roads, built national defense fortifications, and took the island as their home to defend the country and defend the border. In the past 50 years, generations of officers and soldiers stationed on the island have changed the face of the defense area with their own hands. What's more unforgettable is that in the great cause of guarding and building the island, 319 cadres and soldiers died or died due to military training, national defense construction, emergency rescue and disaster relief. With their own lives and blood, they have practiced the heroic oath of "loyalty is buried everywhere in Changshan mountain, so why should we return the corpse with a horse". This memorial park is a memorial to them.
