Dabei temple is located in Yong'an Town, Jiangdu City, Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province. Ganquan County annals (Ganquan is now Yangzhou) compiled in the 33rd year of Guangxu reign of Qing Dynasty records that "Dabei temple, south of Yong'an town.". It was first built in the reign of Zhenguan of Tang Dynasty and rebuilt in the 21st year of Kangxi of Qing Dynasty. It is said that the Dabei temple in history covers an area of more than 50 mu. The main building consists of Mountain Gate, Tianwang hall, Daxiong hall, dizang Pavilion, and Sutra collection building. There are ninety-nine and a half rooms, including guest hall, Squatter room, and wing room. The temple is famous for its majestic temples, tall and solemn Buddha statues, and numerous famous monks. The four characters of "Dabei Temple" in the middle of the mountain gate are written by famous people, with dignified and dignified characters; the plaque of "Deshui Zhideng" is hung on the Tianwang hall, with extraordinary bearing; three Buddhas are worshipped in the Daxiong hall; behind the niche are painted Guanyin, Manjusri and Puxian bodhisattvas, as well as their ridgelines and mounts, with broad shoulders and bare chests, light gauze, thin like cicada wings, gentle and serene expression, bending left knee and bending left Sitting in a solemn and generous shape, it gives people a sense of being fresh and pure, kind and compassionate.
