Introduction

Design concept

The overall design is simple, grand and strong, which is closely related to Jia Pingwa's simple and reserved personality. The external space of the building is crisscross and full of changes, which complements the rich cultural connotations in Jia Pingwa's literary and artistic works. The "concave" design of the main body of the building and the single slope roof system are originated from the traditional Guanzhong residential buildings, and at the same time, they also ingeniously fit the "concave" character in Jia Pingwa's name. The interior space of the art museum is divided into upper and lower floors. On the first level, through the display of Jia Pingwa's calligraphy and painting creation, literary works and the detailed literature related to his creation career, it presents the audience the literary and artistic creation road of Jia Pingwa, an outstanding representative of Chinese contemporary culture, in a multi-dimensional and three-dimensional way. On the second floor, traditional classical art and modern and contemporary art works from different regions and fields at home and abroad will be exhibited irregularly. It will also become an important platform for the exchange of contemporary culture and art in Shaanxi and even in China.
