Guangyuntan

Guangyuntan

Guangyuntan, located in the middle and lower reaches of the Bahe River, is historically known as the "Bashang" area with a long history and profound cultural accumulation. Guangyuntan was one of the main ports in the prosperous Tang Dynasty. As time goes by, Guangyuntan is no longer a grand place. Now, Xi'an has implemented the strategy of "rejuvenating the imperial city" to restore the urban ecology and rebuild the beautiful Xi'an. Through the unremitting efforts of Chanbahe Management Committee for more than two years, Guangyuntan has been paid attention to by the world again!

In January 2005, with the official commencement of Guangyuntan project, the construction of Chanba ecological zone began. According to the plan, the planning area of Guangyuntan ecological scenic spot is about 11.67 square kilometers, with a total investment of 2 billion yuan. After the completion of the whole project, the river course in the area is vertical and horizontal, and the water surface is winding, forming 10000 mu water area and 10000 mu green space. Over the past two years, Chanba ecological zone has invested nearly 2 billion yuan in infrastructure construction. The first phase of Guangyuntan project has been fully completed, and the second phase is coming to an end. 6500 mu of water surface and 3500 mu of green space have been added, making it a rare urban central park in northern China. Guangyuntan, the main venue of 2011 Xi'an World Horticultural Exposition, is located on the Bank of Chanba, which is known as "Bashang" in history. It is one of the main ports in ancient China. "Bashang Yanliu levee, Guanzhong customs Guangyun" describes the grand scene of Chanba thousands of years ago. During the Tianbao period of the Tang Dynasty, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty visited wangchunlou in Guangyuntan to inspect the water transport fleet. After hearing the news, the people of Chang'an flocked to carry out commodity trading, and there were a lot of visitors. To commemorate the event, Emperor Xuanzong of Tang named the pool downstairs Wangchun as "Guangyun pool". This national water transportation material fair, which mainly displays local specialties, shows the development of Commerce and trade and the smooth flow of water transportation in the Tang Dynasty. It is the beginning of the world exposition and the first recorded grand exposition in the world.

survey

After thousands of years of glory, the once prosperous land and water wharf, due to long-term disorderly development, river pollution, excessive sand excavation, garbage siege, ecological damage is extremely serious, and there are many hidden dangers of geological disasters. In January 2005, with the formal commencement of Guangyuntan project, through restoring urban ecology, paying high attention to ecological impact in construction, and adjusting measures to local conditions, the sand pits formed by illegal sand mining were reshaped, taking pits as lakes, taking land as continents, and diverting water from Bahe River, forming a good ecological landscape with islands in the lake, islands and continents connected, pools in the continents, and pools in the continents The three ecological disasters were solved according to local conditions, and the beautiful scenery of Guangyuntan was restored. Today's Guangyuntan, the scene of "big water and big green" in the past, has been initially displayed. In the area of about 6 km long and 2.3 km wide, it is divided into Bahe tobacco willow landscape belt, dynamic sightseeing landscape area, ecological wetland tourism area and tourist resort landscape area from south to North, forming a layout of "one belt, three supporting areas", and becoming an organic landscape whole. The great change of Guangyuntan from ecological destruction to ecological management undoubtedly has more and more typical significance of the times.
