Gaoqiao
Gaoqiao is an ancient bridge in Chengxiang Town, Taicang City, Jiangsu Province. It is located on the Ximen river. It was built in 1334, the second year of Yuan Dynasty. It is a single hole stone arch bridge with a total length of 18.34 meters. It is listed as a provincial cultural relic protection unit.
Gaoqiao bridge is located in zhangjianongkou, Ximen street, Chengxiang Town, Taicang City. It spans zhihetang. It was built in 1334, the second year of Yuantong. It was originally named Xingfu bridge, also known as Gaoqiao. It is a single hole stone arch bridge. It is 15.05 meters long, 4.27 meters wide and 4.4 meters high. Flowers are carved on the arch stone. Eight trigrams are engraved on one side of the middle floor stone, and the word "Xingfu" is engraved on both sides. There are three broken bluestone carved balustrades on the bridge. The bridge body is decorated with flowers Some of them were damaged.
