Huilai fengdelin scenic spot is located in the north of new 337 provincial road, the golden hill of Gangqian village, Huilai County, Jieyang City. It mainly consists of front square, fengdelin stage, fengdelin restaurant, Chuangshi Shuju, fengdelin hall, back garden and other main buildings. Its architecture is exquisitely carved, all from the hands of famous artists, ancient and modern figure painting screen lifelike, is a fine folk traditional art, has great appreciation value.

It is a typical tide style classical garden architecture.

Development history

Huilai fengdelin scenic spot was founded in memory of the great monk Dafeng of Song Dynasty. It was first built in the Republic of China. It was demolished during the cultural revolution. In 1979, it resumed its good work. In 1985, the Council was reconstituted. In the same year, the construction of the hall site was started on the fourth day of August of the lunar calendar, and completed on December 28, 1991. Hall site construction area of 2080 square meters, solemn and majestic, antique.

"Shande Avenue" archway

It is located at the head of lianding bridge (now called Qiaopu bridge) on 337 provincial road, at the entrance of Gangqian village, 2km away from the scenic spot. It was built by private donations.

"Huilai fengdelin" memorial archway

Located in the west gate of the scenic spot, it was newly built in 2010.

Fengdelin Shantang

The building faces south in the north, Jinshan in the north and Longjiang in the south. Step up from the front square and enter the gate of fengdelin hall. There are Chaozhou stone sculptures on the front. There are bright stone drums on both sides of the gate. In the center of the entrance hall, there are pig iron tripod one meter high and ancestral master Tangxun. Further inside, there is dashipu patio. There are eight trigrams releasing pools on the left and right. Climbing into the main hall, there is a statue of Dafeng ancestral master, and the folk praise of Dafeng ancestral master sandalwood There are countless plaques. There are also a number of shell carvings, gray plastic murals, and walls with the deeds of Dafeng.

On both sides of the main hall, there are room hall, Guanyin Pavilion and Tianwang hall.

Maitreya Temple

The main hall is dedicated to Maitreya Buddha. On both sides of the Buddha seat, there is a pair of couplets with profound meaning: big belly can accommodate things that are difficult to accommodate in the world; when you open your mouth, you will laugh and laugh at the ridiculous people in the world. The most moving ones are the 16 wooden doors with the same height as the walls. The themes are mostly from the stories of Fengshen romance, the romance of the Three Kingdoms, the romance of Sui and Tang Dynasties, journey to the west, outlaws of the marsh, a dream of Red Mansions, strange stories from Liaozhai and so on. These characters, which are loved by the people, are repeatedly displayed by sculptors.

Stone pillars and stone lions are carved from large to small, from outside to inside, from thick to thin, layer upon layer. Through various artistic treatments, they are made into three-dimensional carving, relief carving, line carving and shadow carving. The works are beautiful in shape, vivid in spirit, rich in temperament, simple and solemn, and lifelike.
