Xiaokongshan

Xiaokong mountain is located in Mazhan Township, more than ten kilometers west of Tengchong County, on the right side of Dakong mountain. Tengchong is located at the junction of the Indian plate and Eurasian plate, where the underground faults are well developed and the magmatic activity is very intense. Xiaokongshan is only 50 meters high, but the crater is surprisingly large, with a diameter of more than 150 meters. The round cone is empty, seemingly nothing, but full of the infinite mysteries of nature.

Xiaokongshan

Xiaokong mountain is located in Mazhan Township, more than ten kilometers west of Tengchong County, on the right side of Dakong mountain. Among the 99 volcanic cones in Tengchong, the most famous one is dakongshan and xiaokongshan, which are located in Mazhan Township, 23 kilometers away from the county seat. They are the main scenic area of Tengchong Volcanic Geopark. The big and small Kongshan mountains are only a few hundred meters apart. They are twin sisters. They are both truncated cone-shaped volcanoes. After the eruption, the top of the mountain left a wide crater in the shape of a pot. Dakong mountain is named after its towering and straight piercing the sky, with an altitude of 2072 meters, a cone of 100 meters high, a crater diameter of 140 meters and a depth of 40 meters; Xiaokong mountain is named after its low, handsome and lush features, with an altitude of 1937 meters, a relative height of 40 meters, a crater diameter of 150 meters and a depth of 47 meters.

In the first huoshanrehai cultural tourism festival in Tengchong, Yunnan Province, parachute jumping performance was performed in the air. The landing target was the bottom of the crater of xiaokongshan, which was spectacular because of its changeable airflow.
