Pengyuanxian Forest Park

Pengyuanxian Forest Park is located in PENGYUAN town in the northeast of Hengdong County, Hunan Province, with a total forest area of 4.7 square kilometers. It is 30 kilometers away from Wushui town in Hengdong County in the southwest, borders Wushan Township in you County in the northeast, Longtan Township in Zhuzhou County in the west, Taoshui town in you County in the East, and Ronghuan town in Hengdong County in the south.

Park overview

The main peak, pengyuanfeng, also known as penglaixian, is located in Longtan Township, Zhuzhou County, with one peak near three counties (Hengdong County, Zhuzhou County and you county). The park has heavy mountains, green trees and beautiful scenery. There are many scenes of Penglai, which are shrouded in clouds and mist. There are many kinds of lime caves in Dage, which are full of strange stones. When you walk into the forest park, you will feel the overwhelming green. All kinds of trees are like vigorous living bodies, bursting with the passion of life. The trickling streams at the entrance of PENGYUAN town moisten the air, make it fresh and fresh. The integrated green melts into the air, and you will feel like a tree full of vitality, heading deep into the earth Roots, stretching to the sky.

The top of the mountain is rugged and steep. The scenery on the north and south sides of the mountain is different. In winter, you can see the warm sun in the south of the Yangtze River at the foot of the mountain and the beautiful scenery of the "northern kingdom" on the top of the mountain.

Park Construction

The current situation of the scenic spot is good, the mountain is gentle but full of changes, and there are plenty of water resources, rich vegetation and good sense of hierarchy. Traffic facilities have opened up a 2-meter-wide cement mountain road. According to the characteristics of the mountain and water, you can have a panoramic view of the sun and the whole PENGYUAN town. PENGYUAN temple in the scenic area is an important religious culture research and communication center in eastern Hunan. It is also the most prosperous and influential Buddhist resort and tourism hot spot in PENGYUAN area. PENGYUAN temple has been listed as a county-level cultural relic protection unit with important protection and utilization value by Zhuzhou County Government.

Traffic in scenic spots

Since 2005, PENGYUAN peak has become a hot spot for travel and mountaineering in nearby areas. At present, the mountaineering routes include PENGYUAN town of Hengdong County (south slope), Longtan Township of Zhuzhou County, and Qishan township (North Slope).

The local government of PENGYUAN town has cemented the mountaineering highway. Donkeys can drive or take a bus to dapengyuan town to replenish supplies before climbing.
