About the author

His pen name is Dashi. He is from Jingbian, Shaanxi Province. He is a member of the Communist Party of China. He graduated from Shaanxi Suide normal school in 1986. He has successively served as a village teacher, township clerk, deputy head of Township, director of County Cultural Center, vice chairman of Yulin Writers Association, chief editor of trilateral literature, etc. He began to publish his works in 1985. He joined the Chinese Writers Association in 2002. He is the author of poetry anthology "love song in Northern Shaanxi", "red scarf flying over shaliang", prose anthology "talking about Northern Shaanxi" (cooperation), reportage anthology "iron blood mending the sky". Sanhekou, a novella, won the first prize of Yan'an Literature and art cup, and the group poem catch up with the wife of the lunar calendar won the excellent prize of Shaanxi Provincial literature journals in 1999. He has published more than 200 literary works in more than 60 newspapers and periodicals, such as poetry magazine, Yanhe, Lvfeng, farmer daily and Jiefang Daily. His works have been selected into more than 20 anthologies and won more than 10 awards.
