Silver Mine Bay Beach

Silver Mine Bay (also known as silver Mine Bay) is a bay of Hong Kong. It is located in Meiwo area, south of Lantau Island in the new territories. Silver Mine Bay Beach is one of the most famous beaches in Hong Kong.

Silver Mine Bay is named after the silver mine cave on the nearby mountain. The cave once produced silver, which was mined in the late 19th century. Later, the production stopped because the silver content of the ore was too low, leaving only the remains of the cave for tourists to remember.
